After nearly six years of renovation and security works, Monaco’s spectacular Jardin Exotique is once again welcoming visitors — and it is also available to host private and professional events.
The garden officially reopened to the public on 30 March 2026, marking the return of one of the Principality’s most distinctive attractions. Perched high above Monaco, the Jardin Exotique is renowned for its extraordinary collection of succulents and cacti, dramatic Mediterranean setting and panoramic views stretching across the coast. Its reopening is welcome news not only for visitors and residents, but also for those looking for a memorable setting for receptions and celebrations.
According to the municipality’s published privatisation arrangements, the venue can accommodate a range of events, including weddings, anniversaries, corporate receptions, seminars, cocktails and other private gatherings. The Salle Marcel Kroenlein, which has a stated capacity of 165 people, is available for conferences, workshops and celebrations. Outdoor areas, including the garden and plateau, can also be privatised, subject to the applicable conditions and municipal approval.
The setting is particularly appealing for events that aim to combine elegance with something less conventional than a hotel ballroom. A cocktail reception surrounded by exotic plants, or an evening gathering overlooking the Mediterranean, offers a distinctly Monaco experience. For luxury property clients, corporate hosts and event planners, the venue could provide an impressive backdrop for a private reception, product presentation or special celebration.
The municipality has also published indicative 2026 privatisation rates for clients without a connection to Monaco. These include €3,000 for a half-day and €5,000 for a full day in the Salle Marcel Kroenlein. Outdoor options include an €8,000 garden cocktail after closing until 23:00, a €16,000 plateau privatisation after closing until 04:00, and a €19,200 full plateau privatisation.

Of course, availability, guest numbers, catering arrangements, technical requirements and any restrictions on event production should be confirmed directly with the municipality before making plans. The reopening does, however, restore an exceptional venue to Monaco’s event landscape — one that offers a combination of natural beauty, panoramic views and a setting that is difficult to replicate elsewhere on the Côte d’Azur.
