Join the community in honoring Transgender Day of Remembrance
(TDOR) in Nice on Wednesday, November 19 at 6:00 p.m., with a gathering
at Place du Palais de Justice, followed by a candlelight march through
the city’s streets to the LGBTQIA+ Côte d’Azur Center.
Observed
worldwide every year on November 20, TDOR is a deeply meaningful day to
remember the lives of trans people lost to violence and discrimination,
and to stand united against transphobia in all its forms. It is a time
for reflection, compassion, and collective strength — a moment to affirm
that every trans life matters and deserves respect, safety, and
dignity.
As trans people continue to face prejudice, exclusion,
and violence both in France and across the globe, your presence matters.
Together, through visibility and solidarity, we can shine a light of
remembrance, resilience, and hope.
Come, bring a candle, and stand with us in remembrance and unity.
