Les Plages Électroniques Returns for a Spectacular 20th Anniversary

Every summer, Cannes transforms from the glamorous home of the world’s most famous film festival into one of Europe’s premier electronic music destinations. This August, Les Plages Électroniques returns for its landmark 20th anniversary, promising its biggest and most ambitious edition yet.

Taking place 7–9 August 2026 on the beach beside the Palais des Festivals on the legendary Croisette, the festival has evolved from a local music event into an internationally recognised celebration of electronic dance music, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from across Europe and beyond. The anniversary edition will feature three days of non-stop music, multiple stages, immersive experiences and after-parties that continue long after the sun has disappeared over the Mediterranean.

This year’s headline lineup reads like a who’s who of global electronic music.

Festival-goers can look forward to performances from Martin Garrix, Marshmello, DJ Snake, Amélie Lens, Maceo Plex, Patrick Mason, Nico Moreno, Mosimann, Mind Against, Mathame, Salvatore Ganacci, Vladimir Cauchemar, PLK and many more spread across several stages overlooking the sea. Organisers describe the anniversary programme as their largest and most diverse to date.

What makes Les Plages Électroniques unique isn’t simply its lineup. Few festivals anywhere in Europe can match its location. By day, festival-goers dance barefoot on the sand with the Mediterranean only metres away. As evening falls, the lights of Cannes illuminate the bay while world-class DJs perform against one of the Riviera’s most iconic backdrops.

The festival combines beach culture with high-energy electronic music, creating an atmosphere that differs significantly from traditional stadium or countryside festivals. Visitors often spend the mornings enjoying Cannes’ beaches, restaurants and luxury shopping before the music begins each afternoon.

To mark its twentieth anniversary, organisers are also introducing new stages, expanded immersive areas and enhanced festival experiences designed to celebrate two decades of growth. Several ticket categories—including day passes, three-day passes, Premium and VIP experiences—are available, with organisers warning that demand is expected to be particularly high for the anniversary edition.

For visitors travelling to the French Riviera, the festival provides an ideal opportunity to combine a summer holiday with one of Europe’s leading electronic music events. Cannes is easily accessible via Nice Côte d’Azur Airport and regional rail services, while its central location makes it simple to explore neighbouring destinations such as Antibes, Monaco, Nice and Saint-Tropez before or after the festival.

Whether you’re a devoted electronic music fan or simply looking to experience one of the Riviera’s signature summer events, Les Plages Électroniques offers a uniquely French combination of music, beach lifestyle and Mediterranean glamour.

As Cannes celebrates 20 years of its iconic beach festival, the city is once again preparing for three unforgettable days where the soundtrack is electronic music, the dance floor is the sand, and the backdrop is one of the world’s most beautiful coastlines.

Discovering Yourself on the Côte d'Azur: EroticHoms Offers a Discreet Space for Men in the Heart of Nice

Whether you’re a local resident or visiting the Côte d’Azur for the first time, the French Riviera continues to reveal experiences that go far beyond its famous beaches, luxury yachts and glamorous nightlife. For many members of the gay community, the region is also home to welcoming spaces that encourage self-expression, connection and personal exploration.

Just steps from Place Masséna in central Nice, EroticHoms has created a private environment exclusively for men who are interested in naturism, body positivity and personal development through a series of intimate workshops and events. More than simply a discreet venue, it offers an opportunity to disconnect from everyday pressures and reconnect with yourself in a respectful, judgment-free setting.

Among the experiences offered are male naturist life drawing sessions, where participants have the chance to develop their artistic skills while embracing the human body in a completely natural environment. The workshops welcome both experienced artists and complete beginners, making them accessible regardless of artistic background or previous experience.

The venue also hosts a variety of tantric workshops designed to promote mindfulness, body awareness and authentic human connection. These sessions are intended for men who wish to explore relaxation, confidence and personal growth in a safe, supportive atmosphere where consent, respect and discretion are central to every event.

EroticHoms emphasizes community, learning and self-discovery. Attendance is intentionally limited, creating smaller groups that allow participants to feel comfortable and engage more meaningfully with each workshop.

For many visitors, these events offer something increasingly rare in modern life—a place where men can simply be themselves without fear of judgment or social expectations. Whether attending out of curiosity or because they have long been part of the naturist or tantric communities, participants are welcomed into an environment where taboos are left at the door and authenticity is encouraged.

As Nice continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Europe’s most gay friendly destinations, spaces like EroticHoms demonstrate the diversity of experiences available beyond the city’s bars, beaches and festivals. They provide another dimension to the Riviera’s vibrant gay community, reminding visitors that personal discovery can be just as memorable as sightseeing.

Experience the Magic of Les Nocturnes at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

There are few places on the French Riviera where history, culture, music and breathtaking scenery come together as beautifully as they do during Les Nocturnes at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild.

Set on the prestigious peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, these enchanting summer evenings have become one of the Côte d’Azur’s most anticipated seasonal traditions, offering visitors an unforgettable way to experience one of France’s most magnificent historic estates.

From 13 July through 25 August 2026, every Monday and Tuesday evening the villa opens its gates after hours, inviting guests to discover its extraordinary gardens and Belle Époque elegance in an entirely different light. As the Mediterranean sun begins to set, the estate is transformed into a dreamlike landscape where illuminated pathways, candlelit gardens and spectacular coastal views create an atmosphere unlike anywhere else on the Riviera.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to wander through the villa’s lavish interiors before strolling among its nine internationally inspired gardens. Each landscape tells its own story, from the elegance of the French Garden with its famous musical fountains to the tranquillity of the Japanese Garden, the vibrant colours of the Spanish Garden, the romance of the Florentine Garden, the Provençal Garden and the Exotic Garden. As darkness falls, subtle lighting enhances every pathway, fountain and flower bed, making the estate even more captivating.

The evenings culminate in open-air performances beginning around 9:00 p.m. on the villa’s scenic lawns overlooking the Mediterranean. The 2026 programme features an impressive lineup of internationally acclaimed artists, orchestras, ballet companies and performers. Audiences can enjoy everything from classical music and ballet to contemporary concerts and theatrical performances, all within one of Europe’s most spectacular outdoor settings.

Among this year’s highlights are performances by the Ballet of the Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur, celebrated French singer-songwriter Lynda Lemay alongside guitarist Jean-Félix Lalanne, the internationally acclaimed Malandain Ballet Biarritz, Spanish vocalist Luz Casal and French artist Grégoire. Each evening offers a unique cultural experience, making it easy to return more than once throughout the summer.

For many guests, dining is as memorable as the performances themselves. Gourmet picnic baskets can be reserved in advance, allowing visitors to enjoy an elegant meal on the lawns while overlooking the Mediterranean and the illuminated gardens. A garden bar and refreshment area are also available throughout the evening, complementing the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere that has become synonymous with Les Nocturnes.

What makes these evenings truly exceptional is their ability to combine so many of the Riviera’s finest qualities into a single experience. World-class entertainment, magnificent architecture, beautifully maintained gardens, exceptional gastronomy and panoramic sea views come together beneath the stars in a setting that has inspired visitors for more than a century.

Whether you are spending your holiday in Nice, Monaco, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer or Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat itself, Les Nocturnes offers an elegant escape from the bustling beaches and summer crowds. It is an opportunity to slow down, immerse yourself in art and history, and experience the timeless glamour that continues to define the French Riviera.

For visitors seeking an authentic Riviera summer evening, few experiences rival watching a live performance beneath the stars while surrounded by magnificent gardens overlooking the Mediterranean. Les Nocturnes at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is far more than a concert—it is one of the most magical nights you can spend on the Côte d’Azur.
